Memorial
Gary L. Schall, 78, of Anamosa, passed away July 28, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1 at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A graveside committal will follow the service then a luncheon at the Cedar Memorial Family Center. Gary was born June 21, 1945 in Ft. Dodge to Edward and Emma (Westmorland) Schall. After college, Gary enlisted in the Marines and served during Vietnam. He then went to work in the public health sector.
Those left to cherish Gary’s memory are his wife, Sheryl; mother Emma; brother Larry (Karen) Schall; children Debbie (Tim) Weber, Carrie (Seth) Browning, Michelle (Josh) Lawless and Chad (Wendi) Pearson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
