I want to send my sincere condolences to Tony’s family—to his wife and children—also to his parents, Denis and Leta. (Denis is my cousin) All of you are in my prayers during this difficult time. I am so sorry for the heartbreaking loss of your loved one. May God Bless each of you in a special way. Sending my love.

Just heard the news about the loss of Tony. He was a legend in my eyes- as a husband, father, friend, athlete and son. From the first moment you met Tony, you knew he was a genuinely kind and caring person. His smile was a reflection of his soul. He will be greatly missed but lives on in each of you. I hold great admiration for the Moeder family. You are the definition of LOVE. My deepest condolences. Sending love and hugs from an “old” preschool friend from the past, Mrs. Sheri Miller and family

Dear Kathy, Kyle, and Mary Kate, Words are hard to come by and there has just been a tapestry of emotions over the course of Tony's dementia journey..and even more so the days following his last breath on earth. Reflecting though, all of you have handled this life change with an amazing grace, an immeasurable strength, and an everlasting love for each other that will help light your path out of this darkness. Tony was amazing and there are memories that will never fade away. We sit here and reminisce...we laugh at remembering and then the sadness creeps back in. We are going to miss his craziness and warmth, his Godfather and Silence of the Lambs reenactments, and we'll hold Tony every second of the day in our hearts! Know that we are here always, for whatever you may need, day or night, a mere phone call away. All of our love, hugs, and God's peace!

So sorry to hear of Tony's passing. Met Tony thru the Office Supply orders and he was a joy to know. We will be thinking of you during this time.

Kathy you have such a rock for your kids and never missed a moment to spend with Tony. God truly knew what he was doing when he set your path up to meet. Tony was funny caring and loving he was so helpful to everyone around him. You may have lost a husband and the kids a father but you've all gained a guardian angel that will be there forever. He will never be forgotten. Condolences from the whole Troupe Family we love you

Kathy, my sympathy to you and your family in the loss of Tony?? Carmen Wessels

My condolences Kathy. Tony will always be one of my favorite teammates and it was an honor to play with him and see him on occasion after we were done playing. He was always proud of you and the family. The news may not have been a surprise but it was heartbreaking nonetheless. You guys are in our prayers and we will miss him.

To Kathy & family, My sincere sympathies. Saddened to see this in today’s Gazette, even though it’s been a long time coming. The event itself is always overwhelming when it arrives, in spite of what we know. I still have Tony’s autographed baseball (a home run ball he hit & I retrieved) proudly displayed in my basement bar, where it will always remain. He hit that one a mile that day. Love to you all.

So sorry for your loss Kathy. I never met Tony but you talked about him in the most wonderful ways. He is at peace now so take comfort in knowing that.

Kathy and Family…I was deeply saddened to learn of your loss of such a loved one. I send from Surprise, AZ my sincere condolences, prayers, and love to your fine family…..Judy Carmichael

Tony was such a good man! He was so nice and caring and just someone you enjoyed being around. His disease was so unfair and an example of bad things happening to good people. A tribute to Tony is the most wonderful children he had and his totally devoted, loving, and strong wife! Among other things they will be his legacy to all of us going forward. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your entire family and your large circle of friends.

Kathy and family: Please accept my condolences on your loss. It is never easy losing someone you love. Hold on to those memories, continue to hear his voice and don’t ever stop talking to him. He is with you always. I hope that comfort and peace come to you. I know that he will truly be missed. Prayers for your hearts to heal. You are in my prayers and thoughts. May God bless all of you. Hugs Jim Voss
