Dear Bob and Tim, I’m so sad that I didn’t know your mom had passed away. Kathy always had such a beautiful smile, warm heart and caring personality. I loved my one on one times with Kathy when she’d pick me up or take me home from babysitting. She’d laugh at your antics from the night. Later I had the opportunity to work for your parents at Little King during my college years. My time at Little King was one of the best jobs I have ever had. I have so many fond memories of the Bruce and Driscoll families since I was a little girl. Your parents and grandparents were so proud of you boys. Their faces always lit up when they filled me In on the latest updates. Please know that you all have been in my thoughts and prayers over the years but especially more so this past year with your parents and Kate passing away. A very special gift we received from your parents was a tape recording of our wedding. They had placed a secret recorder under our kneeler and interviewed guests at our wedding. I can still see their smiles when they gave it to us.It was the best gift ever. With all our sympathy, Ginny (Loftus) & Dave Staley

To both Bob and Tim and their families: We'd like to express our deepest sorrow at the loss of your Mother. She was a caring, generous, fun-loving lady and a good friend. Kathy and Dave were a large part of our lives for many years. She and I did many things together, then met the boys at Southern Cal's after their golf game. We had lots of laughs and fun times driving to dog tracks across Iowa, going to the Rock n Roll Reunion, and vacationing in Mexico. We've been gone from CR for over 15 years and have yet to meet anyone like them. We will cherish the memories as I know you will and continue to miss them as I know you will. Take comfort in knowing that Kathy is up there right now taking care of Dave like always. Dan and Yvonne Sipe

Kathy will be missed . I met Kathy bowling and she was always so positive loved to talk about her family would bring her mom to visit and watch us bowl . Kathy kept our bowling group of gals over many years gathering for birthday dinners . She was a caregiver for everyone I will miss her dearly! I will keep Kathy in my heart always ! love to you all and keep the loving memories of Kathy forever peaceful !!

Bob, Tm and families, I have been thinking of your mother this past week since it has been a year ago when your dad died and I wanted to send her a card to tell her I was thinking of her. Well, the card got written but never sent as I had no address, and then I was informed that she had died. Before I knew your parents, Little King's was my son, Brad's favorite sandwich shop, and we had to stop there whenever we were downtown. I got to know Dave and Kathy when Dave played for our Frank's slow pitch softball team. I have to say that they had to have been one of the friendliest couples I have known over the years. I know they will be missed by many and I will miss seeing Dave in his Frank's jacket and your mother's lovely smile if we ever survive Covid 19 and get to do another gathering of the Frank's friends who remain.

My memories of Kathy go waaay back, more than 55 years! If I remember right, we took accordion lessons together and had lots of fun. She was always a special person to spend time with. My prayers are with her sons, grandchildren and all of her family. God bless all of you. I know Kathy's gorgeous smile will be with you always.

I first met Kathy when her and Dave owned Little King's. Always enjoyed going in there and visiting with her she was so friendly and welcoming. Then about 12 years ago, my son was turning 16 and we were looking for a car. We went to look at a red Monte Carlo and low and behold it was Kathy selling her beautiful red Monte! My son loved that car and drove it for many years. We called it the red rocket! Loved seeing her again and catching up. My deepest sympathies in your loss, she was a wonderful person.

Dear Bob, Tim & all of Kathy’s Family, I was so sorry to hear of her passing. My memories of her & Dave goes back to the 60’s & fast pitch softball and includes so many other interactions since. Kathy was always so friendly and caring and kind. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. God Bless!

On behalf of myself and the entire staff here at Cedar Memorial I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you and your family at the loss of your mother Kathy. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to let me know.

My heart goes out to the Driscoll family. Kathy always had a smile and joy on her face. Thoughts and prayers to all the family. She will be greatly missed. I can see Kathy and my mom are shopping while Dave and my dad are on a golf course. I miss them all every day. Love always, Brent and Belinda Wagner.

Our hearts are filled with deep grief and tears, but our memories are full of smiles and joy as we remember fun times spent with Kathy and her family. Kathy was one of the sweetest people we know.
