Having grown up with 3 brothers, Deb got her share of teasing. I have many good memories of all times Deb and Don and I played cards and ping pong - after I picked her up from her night manager job at Henrys' Hamburger shop in the early and middle 1970s. Later I would teach her how to drive - using an old 1962 VW beetle and she drove it to work for a while. Much later- she would have a new 4 door pickup truck about which she said many times- " Den, I love my truck ! " One time Deb, Don, Donnie, and Heather, and I went to the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. Deb worked for 39 years with the phone Co, starting as a phone operator with Ma Bell on 3rd Ave. S W. She worked at AT&T, Q-West and Century Link. Deb loved and provided for her family, She was the chief care-giver for her mother Virginia for 8 years. Just recently she enjoyed fixing up her old house with friend and fitness trainer Gary and I. In the last few years we enjoyed hitting golf balls at Ellis golf course and going for walks (even the time when we and the 2 dogs we had with us got drenched in a sudden thunderstorm. Deb, Jacklyn, and I enjoyed our lunch trips to Amana and Lisbon. We all love you and will miss you very much. Den.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Much love. Steve, Michelle, and Stephanie Daley

I gave Deb guitar lessons. She was one of the great students I had - a superb natural ability. It was a real pleasure to know her. Her kindness was evident in the gifts she gave to my wife, Ruth, and I. I will miss her. Don, I am so sorry for your loss.

I was shocked to hear of Debbie's passing today. Living just a few houses away, she is a integral part of my childhood memories. She brought her records to my house and we played them over and over up in my room and practiced dance steps that we then used at the "Y' dances. I recall our sleepovers and all the neighborhood activities that girls engaged in back in the 60's. Later on, I would run into her at Dlask when she had her little ones with her. She was so happy being a Mom. I pray her family knows she will always be remembered with great fondness and affection. Her memory lives on. RIP Debbie.

I am saddened to hear of Debbie's passing. She was a lot of fun. We grew up in the same neighborhood. Corinne Herron Debbie and me hung out alot when we were younger. I remember how much she loved music. She was always busy checking out the next rock band, or going to the dances at the Y. Many times I remember going bowling or shopping together as teens. I remember fun times of doing each others hair, make up and trying on clothes and just hanging out at her house playing the same records over and over. I remember many times just sitting in her room listening to her play her guitar. Her brother Bruce would often join us. Her marriage to Don and then her babies. Her precious babies. I remember how much she loved her babies, Donnie and Heather. Debbie will always be a part of my memories and I pray she RIP. I know she will be greatly missed by all, whose lives she touched. Jeri

I worked with Deb for 20 years at US West, Qwest and CenturyLink. In all of those years, Deb was one of the most dependable, hardest working and conscientious employees that I knew. She never turned down an opportunity to help a customer or fellow employee and got me out of plenty of binds. Through those years one thing was obvious. Outside of work, Deb had a deep love for her family and was very proud of them. She constantly shared pictures of her grandchildren with me and I could tell that they brought a lot of joy to her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. Deb will be missed by all that had the privilege to know her. Marc

I worked with Deb for many years at the phone co. She was one of the hardest working employees the Co. had. I consider her not only as a co-worker but a good friend as well, always ready to help out with any problem you had. My condolences to her family and friends I'm sure she will be missed. Gordon
