Our thoughts and prayers are with the Seidl family. We did not have the good fortune of knowing Jerry, but the obituary gave us a wonderful understanding of the very special person that he was. We believe that many of the values of Jerry are carried forward in the lives of his family members. The world is a better place because of the life that Jerry lived and shared with others. Our prayer is that God will give all the family His Strength, His Comfort, and His Peace at this time of loss!

Phyllis and family, Jerry was a special person to us and especially to me as a member of our Friday Morning Group. Our relationship started decades ago when he taught Econ 101 to our local Certified Life Underwriters Associations and I might add he was very thorough. He made sure we all understood in such a matter that we all learned more because of his ability to get the point across in such a matter we understood.
Jerry was a close friend of whom we really miss. He will be remembered in many ways but one we used to kid him about was all his useful and some not so useful notes he kept in his shirt pocket, what a guy and we loved him for it. One always knew where you stood with him and we will miss him.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the family during these difficult days and especially this time of year. Blessing to the entire Seidl family, may he now Rest In Peace,

Dear Phyllis and Family, We are saddened to learn of Jerry's transition to eternal life. My first wife (Louise) and I always enjoyed getting together with you and Jerry and with other couples from St. Pius X. I believe some of our children attended school together as well. Peace and Blessings to all of you. Warm regards, Bill and Joyce Brennan

Dear SEIDL FAMILY! I will always remember how you hosted me, when I 20 years girl came to USA from Georgia by a Business Exchange Program. I felt like at home and you were my own family, I never felt that I was a guest. And Jerry every morning 6.30 was taking me on his Cadillac to the office and in the evening taking me back home. And he was always smiling! Even at 6.30 in the morning!) And Phyllis was baking a bread especially for me... I will never forget it... We were talking a lot with Jerry in the evenings and he told me that I could be a good lawyer)) He was a really awesome person! My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I am so sorry to read of the loss of your husband and dad. I remember tramping through Faulkes Woods with Jerry and then showing him our house on Tama St. My husband Tom was a fellow attorney. I lost him in August. Tom really liked Jerry and I will picture them discussing the law in heaven together.

Mary, Twins, entire Seidl clan...I am so sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to experience one of those Colorado trips, 30 yrs ago?!, and Mt Elbert had nothin on your dad!!?? He was so fun & generous with his time & intelligence. With all the people in his life, and all of his kids’ friends...it always surprised me that he knew who I was. Nicest guy ever.
