Mom was wondering how Norbert was doing and I found the obituary on-line. I read it to her over the phone as she is confined to her room due to Covid19. She and our family offer our belay condolences. What an amazing life and good soul. I am sure he is greatly missed. Blessings on you all. Stay well.

Dear Suzanne and family......Lynn and I were very distressed to hear of Norb's passing. We were on travel and unable to participate in his memorial service. Norb was truly a gentle-man, with a remarkable intelligence and even more important kindness. I always enjoyed meeting with him on the sidewalk outside our home on Timberline, conversing about current events and enjoying his smile and perspective. We sincerely hope that while you grieve your loss, you can also enjoy the impact this kind man had on all of your and ours lives. May he rest in peace. All our thoughts and prayers......Gerry & Lynn Widen

Dear Suzanne and Family, We are saddened to learn of Norb's death. Bill had the pleasure of working with Norb at Collins and the St. Pius X Parish Council. Norb was a good friend and faithful Christian. Suzanne, thank you for your many year of service with Funeral dinners at St. Pius X. Norb, Suzanne and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Love and Peace, Joyce and Bill Brennan

My deepest sympathies for your loss, I know the tears come easy right now but I hope they are replaced with Laughs of the great times you had together. I ran into Susanne and Norm at a Fish Fry last spring. They were just the same great people I remembered from my High school years. Susanne caught up with me with many questions and Norm waited patiently but would have a witty input into the conversation. May you enjoy catching up with all the people that Norm touched in his life. God Bless, Greg Bodeker

Such a positive, prominent figure of my childhood. Kind and strong, the best neighbor in every sense of the word to myself and my family. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Hemesath family for their loss.

Brilliant mind, friendly and gracious spirit. Im proud to have worked with Norb for many years and to call him friend. He lived his life well and left a great mark. I give my sympathy to Suzanne and the rest of the Hemesath family.

Sue and family, Your loss is deeply felt by all who knew and cared about Norb. We are indeed better individuals having known and worked with him.

As we go through life we meet a few individuals that we know are special. Norb Hemesath was one of these people. Truly a brilliant man who never seemed to feel that it was appropriate to look down on the rest of us more mortal people. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the first satellite transmission of a GPS signal I worked with Norb and his friend Loren DeGroot as we planned a presentation to celebrate an event that would shake the world of navigation. I listening to Norm and Loren tell stories about the early days of GPS. I was like a fly on the wall listening to these two giants. While I was a GPS team member during those early years I never appreciated what was going on outside my own little world we all called GDM. Norb was not just a brilliant engineer, but a gracious individual that I am a better person from having known.

Suzanne & family, We were so saddened to hear of Gus’ passing. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. He was an amazing man and there is a lot to celebrate about a life well lived.

Thinking of your and your family Suzanne. Liz

My condolences Jill to you Pete , and the kids. reading about Norbert's life leaves me with a lot of thoughts about a man who gave a grate deal during his time here. Professionally and personally. Our generation will leave some great things behind but it is something about the stories of our parents lives that is special . Losing a parent is never easy but I hope you can find some comfort in knowing he is at piece in Gods kingdom and a part of him lives on in all of you. I wish I had the pleasure of knowing him personally. God bless.

Suzanne - Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Norb was so intelligent, personable, and kind. He will be missed by our family and the entire Cedar Ridge Drive neighborhood.

Our thoughts and prayers to Suzanne and the whole Hemesath family. I have fond memories of good conversations about politics and current events with Norbert. Rest in peace!

My sympathies and prayers for all of your family at this sad time. I remember with joy all of your involvement and encouragement at St. Pius X. Be assured of my continuing prayers for the whole Hemesath family.
