Aunt Jeanne, Mark, Dianne, and your families.....Our Uncle Joe will be missed beyond words but will be cherished as our mother's sweet brother forever: A kind and gentle spirit who will live on in our memories and photos. What a grand time those two kids had growing up. The song Danny Boy will always remind me of our Unk. I remember him playing it on the piano while listening to the two of them harmonize...... And the artwork ! Love you all----Evie and Dick

Mark and Messner's, so sorry for your loss. You will have all the great memories and artwork to reflect on. Cherish the memories. JR Kacena

Dear Jeanne and Family, The only thing that could compare with Joe's artistic talent was his warmth and smiling eyes. His gentle voice and encouraging manner is speaking to me as I write. I remember so fondly his visits to the CornerHouse and discussions of art and composition. He was an artist, a teacher, a visionary and a genuine friend to those he respected. We were privileged to have known him. We send our sincere sympathies to you. Janelle and George McClain

Mark and Family, We were very sad to hear of the loss of your Dad. What a talented man he was. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Mark, I share in your sorrow on the death of your dad. I wish I could have known him. His art is so beautiful. It shows a very versatile, thoughtful man. Shirley

I was so sorry to hear of Joe's death. He was a wonderful artist and a wonderful, joyous man. His watercolors always shared that joyfulness. Though our paths crossed only occasionally, I have fond memories of those moments. He will be in my prayers.

Jeanne and Family - I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joe,I was a waiter at Hemingway's restaurant and had the pleasure of serving Joe & Jeanne many times. They are the nicest people I have ever meet. My wife & We received a watercolor painting Joe had done for our wedding gift and it still hangs in our home. Our sincere condolences. Daryl & Lisa Wiesender

Jeanne: Just a note to tell you that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I so enjoyed being on the Arts Committee with Joe at Westminster years ago and visiting you two in your home to see all of his artwork. Gingie Hunstad

Mark.....I am so sorry for the loss of your father. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Having had the pleasure of working with Joe at CMF&Z, I know first-hand he was both an artist and a gentleman. He and the worlds he created in his art are already missed.
