Sue, Jeff, Ben, Mitch, and family, I am so very sorry to learn Steve has passed away. Our families friendship goes back to Warren and Audrey who knew my mother back in their college days. Warren was our family dentist. Steve and Warren both had such warm, caring and genuine smiles and offers of friendship. They even had similar voices and mannerisms. Whoever wrote this obituary truly captured the man Steve was. Kudos to that person. I hope your faith, family, friends and good memories will sustain you at this time. Steve was a true light in the world. You have my deepest sympathy.

Ben and Mitch, I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad. Many great memories sitting in the blind, walking the fields and sharing one or two colds ones after the hunt.

Ben & Mitch: your dad was a great man. Got alot of memories going to Minnesota fishing, hunting ducks at Anderson's. Gonna miss you Uncle Steve.

To the Glantz family: Please accept my condolences on your loss. It is never easy losing someone you love. Hold on to those memories, continue to hear his voice and don’t ever stop talking to him. He is with you always. I hope that comfort and peace come to you. I know that he will truly be missed. Prayers for your hearts to heal. Steve was a good friend, a loving father and a devoted husband. I met him at Coe and we worked out together for years. He loved RAGBRI and being with the gang. You are in my prayers and thoughts. May God bless all of you. Jim Voss

I worked closely with Steve at Quaker for several years around 1980. I have good memories of those years. The last time I saw Steve he was either ringing the Salvation Army bell in front of the SE HyVee or riding a spin bike at The Mac. My condolences to his family. Rip Friend.

Ben and Family: Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your father. Thinking of you and your family. Wishing you peace and comfort as you remember your father.

Many memories working for Steven. He was a leader and a friend. May God be with his family!
