Memorial
Doreen M. Scholbrock, 80, of Marion, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, 2:00pm, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Inurnment will follow at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Doreen was born on January 15, 1944 in Monticello, IA to Louis and Hannah (Hayen) Behrends and raised around Amber, IA area in Wayne Township (Jones county). She married Syl Scholbrock on June 15, 1968 and later divorced. Doreen worked at Rockwell Collins from 1967 to 2002. After leaving Rockwell, she worked at Skyworks until her retirement.
Doreen was an amazing cook, prolific gardener, and a lover of horses. She always enjoyed time with friends and family, whether it was parties, gatherings, or casual get togethers.
Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Kraig.
She is survived by her son, Kurt; brother, Virgil; and 4 nephews.
