Memorial
Sue Ann Harwood, Age 66, passed away at the UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, on Sunday, November 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 1 to 5 PM.
Sue was born on August 23, 1956, in Evanston, IL. She was the daughter of the late Richard R. and Barbara (Campbell) Harwood. She was a member of the Chorale Midwest in Cedar Rapids, IA. She was a volunteer at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, and enjoyed a long career in the Adolescent Psych unit at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Those left to cherish Sue’s memory are her brother, Richard T. Harwood of West Chicago, IL; her nephews, Timothy (Laura) Harwood of Waterloo, IA, and Thomas Harwood of Elburn, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her nephew, Scott Harwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Chorale Midwest, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, and or, the Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital for all the love and support they showed Sue, while she was in their care.
