Dear Steve, This is Sue (formerly from Miracles in Motion and now from Hoofprints, Equine & Animal Assisted Activities.) I am so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. Please accept my sympathy. I remember Karen as such a kind and caring parent and person and I always enjoyed our visits and interactions. I know she will be so missed and, again, I'm very sorry for your loss. Sue

Karen was a very special person. I will always remember her friendly smile, and gentle words, and she will be greatly missed. Distance becomes very difficult at times like this, when being together would mean so much. But, in the end, distance is no match for the power of love being spoken over all of you, and so I speak peace to your hearts, and comfort to your entire family. Missing her here, yet celebrating her life well lived, and knowing that she is with the Lord.

I would like to pass along my condolences to Steve, and to the family. Karen was always a very passionate advocate for animals and children. Over the years, when I've had the opportunity to be able to spend time with her, it was something that I always looked forward to, and always came away with a great appreciation for knowing her. My heart and prayers are with you. Peace to you, all.

Mr. Reznicow- I'm very sorry for your loss. I met your mom once when she came over to our house to watch Pittsburg to Paris with my parents and I, and she seemed like an awesome climate activist and very nice lady. Our family made a memorial contribution in her honor to Hoofprints of Iowa Equine and Animal Assisted Therapy. Sydney Williams My sympathies to the family as well. Karen was one of my very favorite people to talk to when I worked at Echo Hill, and I always enjoyed seeing her at Linn Mar Orchestra events. She made a difference in the lives of those around her, whether they were two-legged, four-legged, or winged. I am grateful to have known her. Kim Williams

Sorry to hear such news, Karen was a wonderful lady, she made a blanket for my daughter 7 years ago to welcome her into this world and she still has the blanket. Very kind person along with my man Steve. I miss you both.
