So very deeply sorry to hear of Garys passing.I was a friend of his through Target,we worked together many years.I truly thought a lot of Gary....his 'quirky.one-of-a-kind personality.I loved the way he always seemed to march to his 'own drum'.All his crazy hair phases, his love of music, his pure heart. He was always enjoyable and fun to be around{with the exception of after a cocktail}but after being scolded he would go back to his perfect gentlemen self.My phone started ringing early a.m. after friends read of his passing.I called him for a get together last summer....a group of 20 or so of his 'FANS",Hadn't seen him in quite some time, but it was like old times.I am so very glade I talked him into meeting.I wish I would have been a better friend and kept in touch. He will always be in my heart. Fondly,Roxanne Sweet-Scofield

Gary will be missed by his Building Service team members. We had some very good times together. From Gary Van, Joel, Darren, Dale, myself and all the others he touched while in the stores. our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

So sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Gary was a first cousin and would come to Minnesota every summer during the 4th of July and would always have a good time . Always had a smile . My sympathy to the family .

I'm sorry to hear about Gary ….we go way back to the Target days...those were fun times...Gary was always the jokester.....I saw him on his last day of his chemo....he looked good and was planting tomatos in his garden....I will miss my old friend
