Garland, John, and Jenny - I am so sorry to hear of Iris' passing nearly two years ago. I came across her obituary while searching the archives and it took the breath out of me. Every time I drive past your house (and over where ours once stood) I think about the wonderful childhood we had there . So many happy memories! Iris was a sweetheart...she was kind and patient and loving and I will cherish her memory forever. I can still remember her laugh so well, and when I think of her I hear it every time. I love you guys so much, and I miss being a kid growing up next door to the Waddiloves. You are forever in my thoughts and prayers.

John and family. I was very saddened to hear of the passing of your mom. She was a wonderful and kind lady who always had a smile and a hug for me when I'd see her. Your parents both had a heart of gold for children and others and were great examples and sweet simple people she will be very missed by everyone.

Iris was a very sweet and loving person, you could tell she really cared about others. She always had a smile on her face that could brighten up the room. I looked forward to seeing that beautiful smile everyday, and she will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. May God comfort them in their time of grief.

Iris and her husband went to church with my mom and I at New Disciples in Cedar Rapids Iowa, she always had a smile on her face and was always glad to greet you in the morning on Sundays and ask you how you were doing, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this time, she is going to be greatly missed at New Disciples by her church Family in Cedar Rapids Iowa.
