Later, she attended Carlson College, graduating with the highest score in her class. Janet owned and operated Iowa Therapeutic for many years and was deeply knowledgeable in holistic medicine, understanding natural healing better than most doctors.
Janet had a passion for tending to the orange trees in Florida, carefully keeping them free of weeds to ensure a bountiful harvest. Janet was dearly loved by all who knew her.
Janet is survived by her two sons, Steven (Kim) Rooks of Montgomery, Texas, and Ronald (AnhThu) Rooks of New Port Richey, Florida; seven grandchildren, Michael (Sam) Rooks, Matthew Rooks, Jeffrey (Megan) Rooks, Meagan McGraw, Justin Rooks, Andy Duong, and Lexi Duong; great-grandchildren, Braylee McGraw, Finley Rooks, and one on the way; a sister, Dorothy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
