Audra Lynn Larimer, 59, of Cedar Rapids, passed away, Monday, July 20, 2026. Visitation will be from 11 am – 1 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Faith Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. Private Inurnment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
Audra was born on April 3, 1967, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of John “Jack” and Martha (Tomson) Gilmour. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School in 1985 and from the University of Northern Iowa in 1989 and 1990. Audra was united in marriage to Michael Larimer on June 28, 1997, at Kenwood Park Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a Project Manager for Telecom USA and several other telecommunications companies. Audra was also a PS Map Trainer for the State of Iowa for several years. Audra was a Child Advocate for foster care and adoption and an avid supporter of Last Hope Animal Rescue. In her free time, she enjoyed scrapbooking. Audra was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and was currently serving as an elder. In addition, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Michael; children, Nathan Blocker, Jay Larimer, Timnisha (Nate) Hummel, Mitchell Larimer, Tyler (Angela) Larimer, Lauren Larimer, Curtis Larimer, Riley Larimer, and Draven Larimer; close family member, E.J. Larimer; numerous grandchildren; father, John “Jack” (Janice) Gilmour; sister, Corin Baker; and brother, Jim (Ali) McGrew.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Martha; brother, Michael McGrew; and brother-in-law, Todd Baker.
