My thoughts and prayers are with you all . I’m so sorry for your loss 🙏❤️🙏

I have so many fond memories of working for and with the Godwin's and Marshall. Catering and working at Winifred's were one of the best times of my life. Marshall and all the Godwin's always made it feel like you were part of a family. Many stories come to mind and warm my heart. My heart felt sympathy to Lanessa, Paul and all the family; Ron, Amy, Brian, Mark, Dennis and Laurie.

Lanessa and Paul, what a great person Marshall was. I have so many wonderful memories working at the restaurants, spending time at the barn, BBQ Roundup, morel hunting, gardening in the back of Winifred’s and creating the bee sanctuary…so many great times “growing up” with you all. I am grateful to have been a small part of Marshall’s life, he was a mentor and a friend. Wishing you strength and peace.

“Keep it a class act” will endure as the Godwins understand that as the love of his life and, now, beyond. Love survives all things! My wife and I enjoyed many life events at Marshall’s businesses. Wonderful was always our experience and that was his aim, always! Now the Angels, Saints, Holy men and Holy women and those who preceded him into heaven welcome him into God’s eternal Grace. Heavenly delights are now on the menu!

Many moons ago I worked with Mary at St. Luke's, she always had the biggest smile whenever she talked about her family and her hubby! I can imagine her smile seeing him again but my thoughts go out to you all in this loss. May your memories bring great smiles again in the days to come.

Lanessa and Family, I am so sad to see that you have lost your dad. I would love to see you sometime soon. You have my deepest sympathy. (Mrs. Booth; Harding M.S.)
