I send my condolences to her family and all her loved ones. Bonnie was a fantastic role model growing up. I loved talking to her about the arts, especially ballet. She was a great conversationalist and always enjoyed seeing her. She was very stylish, full of life and a phenomenal person.

I knew Bonnie in her “early “ years of counseling at Prairie HS. She had the energy to make a difference. She helped get a new career education effort started with other counselors in the area. She was a very positive person and as I read her life story, she never stopped. Quite a life.

Bonnie was a kind and caring person. She connected with me at Cottage Grove place, and I came to appreciate what she did for others. I saw it first hand in her interactions with her fellow residents. I admire her professional accomplishments, and know this world is a better place because she was here. I join with her family in celebrating her life. William C. Jacobson - A friend.

Bonnie was such a special person in my life. I will always remember our walks together, and the way she never forgot the little details about me. She had such warmth in our conversations, and she made every moment feel meaningful in life. I feel so grateful to have known her, and she will always hold a place in my heart. Sending love and prayers to her wonderful family. Abbe Wagner

Bonnie was always a bright spot on our visits to Cedar Rapids ( as was her mom, our Aunt Alma). A wonderful and accomplished woman. Long life, a good life. Love from your cousins

What an amazing woman! I remember Bonnie as an amazing High school counselor who really inspired me. Thoughts and prayers with her family. Prairie High School class of 1990.
