Jill and family….sending you my love and prayers during this very difficult time. Rob was such a blessing to so many and my heart is breaking for you and your family. I am so grateful he got to be a part of our family and we got to know such a beautiful soul. We are here for you always and love you so very much!!

My deepest sympathy for your loss . We have always thought Rob as a friend. He was a good man with a huge heart,a great sense of humor andhe was always there to help those who needed him.

My deepest condolences to the Chamber’s family and friends! I worked with Rob for 24+ years at Qwest, CenturyLink/Lumen! Rob was always the “Go with the Flow” type guy, knew his craft and made everyone feel like a friend! I was honored to know Rob and will miss our chats about “ Stupid Shit” as he used to say! Rest easy Rob!!!

Deepest heartfelt sympathies for your loss. 💔😓

Baby doll, (Jill) When something like this happens, it leaves everyone figuring out how to pick up the pieces. There are no words, only love and support during this sorrowful time. I am here for you- always have been - always will be. Love never dies. Rob’s love is everlasting. Your love you shared is a beautiful love story! You shared a bond that will never be broken. We love you so much baby doll!

Jill, I'm so sorry for your loss!!! Rob was a very nice and funny man, and the two of you were so perfect for each other!!! I wish you well!!! Sissy

Our hearts are heavy and pained from having lost the best brother in law you could ever ask for. To say we are so lucky and honored to have had God bless us with Rob, or Shrub, as we all called him. With my husband being a Robert as well this was a nickname that we lovingly called him. Honestly I can not remember exactly how we ended up with "Shrub" but he even ended up with personalized license plates with that on them lol.....I have never looked at him as being my "brother in law" but rather the best big bro I had always wished I'd had having not had a big brother AND a big sis growing up. But I do have the BEST big sis, Jill, that I grew up with. When Shrub and my sis first met I knew they both found their twin flame. And they were absolutely perfect for each other. Through my sister failing for such an incredible man and God blessing our family with him I FINALLY had (have) my big bro. I love you big brother always and forever. We all love you and to say that you are and will be missed would be a understatement to say the least. Enjoy paradise and see you again when the good Lord decides he wants to bring us home as well. Jill we love you so much. I know you already know this but I'm going to say it again. We are always here for you and saying sorry for your loss or any of the usual sentiments one offers during such times as this just don't seem to truly express what we feel in our hearts knowing all you are handling. We can only imagine what it must truly be like. And you are a rock. I admire you so much. We all do. We love you. 💜 Always praying for you.

I worked with Rob for 24 years with a lot of nights spent working at the different locations of the Cedar Rapids Fire Department where I learned invaluable information from him. My lunch time is forever changed to 11:00 and not a minute later. His love of Amazon electronics grew on me too, as well as his love & knowledge of his aquariums. His Purple Severum that he gave me a few years back is still going strong and we'll both miss you..

So sorry for loss. Rick sent me the obituary. He's in good hands now. Rest In Peace Rob.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I worked with Rob for a while at Centurylink, and I could always depend on him to go take on any problem and come back with a good story and a laugh. Great guy and I'm thankful to have known him. God bless, you're all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We are so sorry of the loss of your precious Rob. We are so glad that Jill shared him with us. He was a wonderful fun loving person. May God bless you during this difficult time. Prayers and hugs to his family and love ones
