I remember Rae Jean very well. She helped tutor me with math class, and was in the MDT classroom at Washington High School. I really enjoyed her sense of humor and sending condolences.

Bill- & family, I’m so sorry for your loss!! It was so great to see you both at the star- lite!!! Her smile and your love made Anne and I reminisce all the great memories!!!! Love you all!!

When I think of Rae Jean, one word comes to mind to describe her - GOOD! She was a good wife, a good Mother, a good Catholic, a good neighbor, and a good friend. Rae Jean had a pure heart ❤️ May God hold her in the palm of His hand.

Brent and family . So sorry for the loss of your mother. You are in thoughts and prayers.

Bill, I was so sorry to hear about Rae Jean, Deanna shared the news with me. My prayers go to you that you find your way thru this sad time.. Grandchildren and your family are the best way to keep those wonderful memories alive!

Dear Bill and Family; For years every time I drove down 2nd Ave, towards 29th St, I thought of Rae Jean and picking her up for some school event at Regis. We also connected when our boys played basketball at WHS. Such a sweet and gentle person. Lovely memories, blessings to you Bill and the kids.

Bill and Family: We were sadden to read of your loss of Rae Jean. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We remember the good old days of NWB and boating. May Rae Jean’s be at peace. May faith, family, and good memories bring your family comfort.

Bill & Family; I am so sadden for your loss. I met Rae Jean as we both began working in NW Bell Telephone business office. I am happy that we kept in contact all the years since. She was so joyful and kind-hearted. You have my heartful sympathy.

Bill and Yakish family. So sorry for your loss. I wasn't aware of the situation, but good to know that she had the best care available at the last. I'm sorry due to physical problems I'm having I won't be able to attend the visitation or funeral but know you're in my thoughts.

Dear Bill and family, I was so sad to read of Rae Jean’s death. She was so sweet and genuine. I have many fond memories of her and Bill from the Telephone Company. She will be missed. Fondly, Marybess Chester

My wife Kay and I would like to share our sincere condolences to the Yakish family. We first met Rae Jean when Kay used to babysit the Yakish boys. In later years we'd see her smiling face at the casino. If Keno is played in heaven, I know where she can be found.

I was very saddened to read in the Gazette this morning about Mrs. Yakish’s death. I hadn’t seen her in a long time so hadn’t known that she was ill. I remember her and Bill being so attentive to her parents Jean and Ray Struve at Saint Matthew Masses, especially as they became more frail and elderly. It was obvious that she was a very nice person. To Bill and her entire family you have my deepest sympathy.

My prayers are with the family, I have known Rae Jean thru St. Matthews and Regis and she was a wonderful person, always had a smile on her face!

Bill, children and grand children Our hearts go out to all of you. Rae Jean will be greatly missed. As neighbors we enjoyed great conversations and an occasional glass of wine with this sweet gentle woman. Rae Jean will not only be missed at home with family but the entire neighborhood is losing a great neighbor. Bill, don’t hesitate to call or stop by if you need anything.

She was such a special lady. So kind and funny. I just can't imagine the world without Rae Jean.

My prayers for Rae Jean and family. I remember well our days at Regis .. and especially her smile and sense of joy

Your mom was a wonderful woman. Will always remember all the family gatherings at the lone tree community center back in the 80s and early 90s. Along with all the weddings. Many hugs to all of you. She will always be with you in your heart and mind.
