Charles William Emig, 77 of Marion, IA, passed away on November 20, 2023. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am-1:00 pm on Saturday, December 2, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on 4200 1st Avenue. A private inurnment will take place following the visitation.
Charles was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He married Sherry Angels Clardy on January 24, 1995, in Tennessee, until her passing in 2001. Charles owned and operated C.W Emig trucking for over 30 years, working hard to keep his trucks moving up and down the roads. He always made sure to keep his trucks clean, shining, and in pristine condition.
Preceded in his death are parents Harold Emig and Mary (McCrackin) Emig.
Charles is survived by son James William Emig of Marion, IA; daughter Tina Marie Emig of Cedar Rapids, IA; brother Richard Emig; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his loving dog Niely.
