A former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids IA informed me of Phyllis' "home-going" and provided a link to this site. I fondly remember Phyllis and her family; they joined Good Shepherd during my ministry there. To family and friends of Phyllis: May the God of hope grace your days with His love, joy and peace.

So sorry for your loss, I always enjoyed working with Phyllis at National Oats/Ralston. The last time I saw her was at Keystone Cedars when we took a tour and spent almost an hour going down memory lane. She’ll be missed.

Our deepest sympathy from the Stanek family. Phyllis was always a shining light of happiness for all of us growing up.

So sorry to hear of this. I enjoyed many years of doing her hair and getting the "oat dirt"out of her hair. She was always a lot of fun and loved her laugh. Was so glad I got to see her a Walmart one day and get a hug that will be a best memory to last for me. You will be missed. Prayers for the family.

Our deepest sympathy to the McLaud family from the Stanek family. Phyllis was always a bright light in our lives when growing up. When I was 4 I told her and Dave that I was going to marry Dave when I grew up. I soon decided it was more interesting to call Tim on the phone - "is Tim dare" I'm sure he'll remember. As an adult Phyllis and Dave were always fun to be around, and out having fun with Mom and Dad.

To the entire Mclaud family, We are saddened to learn of Phyllis passing,We loved her to,she always had a infectous smile, will always remember being invited to the 4th of July get togethers,RIP Phyllis!!!!!
