Helen Mildred Brown, 93, of Marion passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Terrace Glen Village.
Private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Helen was born on February 6, 1928, in Fort Madison, Iowa to Raymond and Isabelle (Foreman) Frizzelle. She was united in marriage to Max Duayne Brown on October 17, 1953, in Bellwood, Illinois. Helen worked as a registered nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital for over 30 years.
Helen is survived by her two sons Greg Brown of Melbourne, Australia and Lindsay (Dianne) Brown of Marion, four grandchildren: Austin and Valerie Brown, Cara (Andre) Kahler, and Kevin (Sarah) Brown; three great-grandchildren Landon and Bennett Kahler, and Maxwell Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents, spouse Max, granddaughter Caitlin Brown, and a sister Annabelle Frizzelle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Courageous.
