Memorial

The battle between Sandy Mama Tate and her pancreatic cancer ended in a draw on November 3, 2021. Mama Tate died, but so did the cancer!

She would want you to remember:
Don't be jerks to animals
Whatever you do, don't feed bread to ducks
Adopt don't shop
If you see a new person to the LGBTQ Community who needs a hug, give them a Mama Tate hug
Spoil your grandbabies (or hers)
When your children move out, make your home a shrine to them with pictures of them everywhere
Make friends wherever you go
Do things that nourish your soul
She would also want you to make her famous pumpkin bread this time of year. Here is the recipe:

2 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup shortening
1 can of  pure pumpkin
2/3 cup water
4 eggs
3 1/3 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp baking powder

Heat oven to 350
Grease bottoms only of 2 loaf pans.
Mix shortening & sugar. Stir in pumpkin, water & eggs. Mix in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves & baking powder.
Pour into pans.
Bake 1 hour & 10 minutes.

She was preceded in death by her two front teeth and her gallbladder.
