Steven Lee Frink, 68, of Hiawatha, passed away March 21, 2026. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Steven was born on May 27, 1957, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Roland and Margaret (Pillard) Frink. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1974-1977, he continued to love his country as a veteran.

United in marriage to his high-school sweetheart and love of his life Becky Blough on April 9th, 1982, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Steve and Becky went on to have their three boys that he loved and was so proud of. The most cherished role he ever had was being an amazing father to his boys and papa to his grandbabies. 

Steven had worked in the field of Communication Construction, where he made lifelong friendships. Retiring from Imon Communications in 2024 after working 46 years in field.

Away from work, he loved being outdoors. An avid fisherman, Steve enjoyed fishing from his boat or in his ice fishing tent. He was often out hunting for morel mushrooms, pheasant, and deer. But mostly relished being surrounded by his family enjoying Hawkeye football, BBQ's and being with his Becky. He enjoyed playing pool, and if you asked him would whoop the boys every time.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Becky of Hiawatha; three sons, Steve (Tonya), Jeff (Liz), and Curtis (Liz) all of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Kaden, Layla, Sammi, and Emma; and two sisters, Kathy (Jim) George of Stone City and Sandi Frink of Marion.

Preceding him in death were his parents; nephew, Jeremiah George; and nieces, Amy Blough and Mercedes Blough.
