I smile when I think of Tim!! His parents were wonderful; loving. Tim was special to them and many. I remember meeting his parents shortly after starting at Handicapped Systems in 1976; at a Family Potluck Supper. Tim was a joy and will be missed by many.

My Dad William Busching married Tims aunt Jean Schoon. I knew this cool child the entire life of Dad's marriage till Dad Died and Tim's parents were there for me when Dad passed and Tim was the love of their lives and I took happiness knowing him and his enjoyment of simple life and his parents love of him tho many did not get it. God bless you Tim, you were never a bother

I was Tim’s case manager for many years and helped Tim and his parents transitioning Tim from their home to his own home with Discovery Living. Tim’s parents were amazing and always put Tim first. Discovery was and has always been a true blessing for Tim as well as his parents. Tim and his parents have always held a place in my heart! Thank you to all the staff at Discovery Living for blessing them. ????

Tim was a true gentle man. What a delightful person he was. I knew both of his parents and they did a remarkable job raising a son with intellectual disabilities. In their declining years they trusted Tim to the care & support of Discovery Living. Tim transitioned very smoothly to living with 3-4 housemates in Marion where he had a high-quality life. His support staff did an excellent job giving life-long care to Tim. I will have nothing but fond memories of my friend Tim. Rest in peace and enjoy eternity!
