Alice "Marie" Bestor (66) passed away at Willow Gardens Nursing home in Marion, Iowa on Monday June 8th.
Marie is predeceased by David Bennett (Father). She is survived by her mother, Geri Hough,and her children: Danielle (Brandon) Wepking,Troy (Megan Chambers) Hoffman, Andrew Bestor, and Shelbie Bestor. Surviving siblings: Casandra Bennett, Linda (Steve) Wood, David Bennett, Richard Bennett, Carie (Matt) Hrynkiewicz, and Chelle (Jason) Doyle. She is also survived by 8 beautiful grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Marie was born in Portsmith, Virginia on December 2nd, 1953. She attended Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Marie loved making people smile, cooking for people and sewing beautiful quilts for family and special friends.
A graveside service will be held for her at Cedar Memorial in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Friday June 12th, 2020 at 1pm. Specifically at the Garden of Serenity.
