Bill and Family, I was So sorry to receive the news of Jan’s passing. I remember Jan being such a vibrant and fun loving person, My heartfelt condolences go out to you Bill and the children and Grandchildren. I’ll always Remember our trips visiting Iowa when I was young in the summer and The Halupnik Family reunions at Taylor Park. I especially remember the last one I attended with my own family in 1994 when Marv and Tilly were still with us and spending time with you and Jan and the rest of the cousins and Aunts and Uncles. The picture for Jan’s memorial captured what I remember, kind, warm and loving. May God be with you all as you go through this time of your Loss of your beloved Jan Your cousin Jim

Wow, when I opened the paper and saw her beautiful smiling face in the obituaries it hit me like a ton of bricks. I have not kept in touch but she was a kind lovely fun person and I did not know she was sick. We use to get together and have coffee when our first born girls were small. We had fun at the ball park. I am sad for all of you, her family and those close to her.

Bill and Family, We were deeply saddened to learn about the passing of such a loved one. We send our sincere sympathies, prayers, and love to your fine family.

I will miss her always present smile, her wonderfully generous spirit, her sparkling eyes -- and her indulgence in sharing our "library stories" about kids, and books, and then our grandchildren.
