Dear Ann and Family, I just returned from a week in Chicago and read of Norman's passing. I am so sorry for your loss and that I couldn't speak to you all in person. Even so, I want you to know how valuable the Bales family has been to me since the early 1980s. So many fond memories of founding PPA, "Greater Tuna", many shows you supported with Jim and Ruby, dinners and parties in your home, and so much more. Please know that I will always treasure our time together, and I hope you can find a measure of comfort in knowing that.

Ms. Ann, We just wanted to let you know that you and Norman touched our lives in more ways than we could ever say. Your love for Christ and your compassion for us as a family was always obvious! Thank you so much for just being there and sharing your strength with us!

Ann, You know that both you and Norman have bee very special to me and my family throughout the years. I wouldn't be the puppeteer without the guidance and instruction from you and I wouldn't be the man/husband/father without the same from Norman. I will always be appreciative to him for the mentoring, guidance and words of wisdom he provided but most of all, I will always be appreciative to him for marrying Jane and I. You and Norman are both loved and he will be sorely missed. In His Service and Yours, Kirk

Dear Ann: So many of us at the Minden church have wonderful memories of the time you and Bro. Norman worked with us. We were all so sorry to hear of the loss of Bro. Norman. He was truly a good Christian man who will be greatly missed. Praying that you and your family will be surrounded by God's peace and comfort during this difficult time. Marilyn Winget

Dearest Ann and family, Ron and I are so sorry for your loss, but we are rejoicing in Norman's great Victory in Jesus!
