We had our differences in the beginning but I really became to like her. How could you not. She had a big hand in raising my son to become who he is. I can not thank her enough. God will take care of such a kind person. My thoughts and prayers to go out to her family.

I'm so sorry to read of Mary's passing. Mary was a great person, always upbeat & caring.
I can remember the first time I met her, at a band gig of her husband, Dan Johson's band, Travesty, in Lisbon, IA. That was the first night Dan met her too.
To Dan, & Mary's family, my deepest condolences go out to you. My heart is heavy.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Mary's passing. A Friend (Ron) told me the news and the memories started flowing. I haven't seen anyone from the Old Gang that use to hang out together (with Mary being one of the main Cast of Characters) in many years, but this news still brought tears to my eyes. Her smile and laugh will live inside me forever! God be with you on your Journey Home Mary, you will be missed!!!

So many memories of her smile, her laugh and good times. I was always amazed at her strength. Words seem inadequate when expressing how deeply we feel her loss but she would say it's no big deal. She would tell us to keep going, moving forward. But the days are a little less bright now. Keeping Carol, Trish and Dan and the whole family in my prayers.
