May you rest in peace knowing you were the most beloved grandma ever.

Mrs. Oglesby and Mr. H were two of the best kindergarten teachers I have ever met- and the two of them made the perfect team! May she be surrounded by little giggles and the patter of little feet for the rest of eternity! Thanks Mrs. O!

My heart goes out to all those that loved Mrs. Oglesby. I was unaware of her battle. She was about the only teacher I've always remembered and talked about. Especially since she was my kindergarten teacher about 25 years ago. I just remember her being so comforting and welcoming. I loved my kindergarten year. She was a wonderful teacher and due to my good memories from Emerson, was a main reason I chose for my twin boys to attend there. I'm glad they got to meet her too. Rest peacefully in your Heaven Ann. Thank you for all you have given. ~XOXO~ Kayla & Family

Our sympathy and prayers.

I only spent a short moment with you but I will never forget your generosity and your smiles, especially Ann's one. Sending you and all your family my thoughts. May you find strenght and comfort in the warmth of your family.

Our family was sad to hear of Mrs. Oglesby's passing. Both of our children had her as a teacher at Emerson. She was always upbeat and patient. She always made class fun! She will be missed! God Bless!

Our deepest condolences. Ann will always be my children’s beloved junior kindergarten teacher. Prayers and love. Katie, Kyler, and Lanette Hauser

Our deepest sympathy is extended to the family and extended family. Sincerely, Ankeny Fire Department Chief Officers and Chaplains

I share my condolences with the family! I had Mrs.Oglesby as my kindergarten teacher and she was always the best! She's always been my favorite teacher and I am a junior in Highschool, she always brought us foods to try, and made us apple cider and hot chocolate with marshmallows for the holidays. She was always making us laugh and always had fun activities, she will be missed!

Steve, we are so very sorry for your loss. Ann put up such a fight, but now she can rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Steve and family, sorry to hear of the loss of Ann. Please accept our condolences.

Journey's end, Arrived at destination of eternal Grace. Courage and caring are hallmarks of the journey. Tough, selfless, tender, carrying, enthusiastic, gracious and God-Fearing. Last week's 1st reading was an instruction on Ann and the praises go beyond the City gates. The Oglesby's are a family to admire and at the core were Ann and Steve. We're lucky to have said "hello" across the years and sad to say Goodbye, for now. May all the Angels, Saints, Holy men and Holy women greet Ann in paradise! And may family and friends celebrate a life of service to others.

She will be greatly missed when i was at emerson elementary school she all ways said hello

One of the most selfless and kind women I’ve ever met. A guiding light for my wife and a wonderful, loving grandmother to my 5 children, who are all better for having had her in their lives. She will be deeply missed for a long time.

Prayers and hugs to your family Steve.
