Jodi Porter, 46, of Cedar Rapids died Thursday April 17, 2014 at the Oldorf Hospice House after a long illness. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday April 19, 2014 from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A Graveside Service will follow at 10:30 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in the Chapel Garden Section.
Jodi is survived by her children; Tyler Hakes, of Des Moines and Cydney Porter of Cedar Rapids, four brothers; John, Joe, Jerry, Jeff, four sisters; Judy, Janet, Jackie, Jennifer, father and mother in law; Carolyn & Eugene Porter.
She is preceded in death by husband Paul, her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
Jodi was born April 19, 1967 in Cedar Rapids to Adelbert and Judith (nee Howard) Hakes. She loved spending her time with her family and her dogs; Wrigley, Dolly and Stanzi.
