They were married almost 60 years when he preceded her in death on March 4, 2019.

She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed babysitting for all of them. They were the joy of her life.

Most of her life she was a homemaker, but also worked part time as a cashier at Osco Drug and retiring at Drug Town. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and Mercy Auxiliary. Sharon was noted for being a card sender to let everyone know she was always thinking about them because she couldn’t always be there.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Lori of Utah and Debbie of Tiffin; 4 grandchildren, Jacob (Jenny) of Fairfax, Kelsey of Cedar Rapids, Elijah (Kelly) of New Jersey, and Jonah of New York; 5 great grandchildren Mason, Cole, and Aubree of Fairfax, Leah of New Jersey, and Kingston of Cedar Rapids.
