Memorial
Richard Allen McPherson, 73, passed away October 12, 2023. A memorial visitation is planned from 1 to 2 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Interment of cremains will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Richard, also known as “Dick” or “Dicky”, was retired and living in Fort Lauderdale, FL with his niece, Leah. He enjoyed watching TV, hanging out poolside and with friends with his best friend, Jack, and doing yard work. He is reunited with his most loved mother, father, brother, sister and grandmother.
Richard was born on July 24, 1950, to Frank and Barbara McPherson in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Cindy Kerwin and William McPherson. He is survived by his extended family and friends. He will be missed by all.
