Memorial
Deborah Lee Kristiansen, 70, passed away on May 31, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A memorial service will be held on June 30, 2023 at 11 AM, with a visitation beginning at 10 AM, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Marion. A luncheon at the church will follow. The committal will be held after the luncheon at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years Gary Kristiansen; sons, Cory (Sue) Gardner and Adam (Tonya) Kristiansen; her beloved grandchildren, Cortes Macachor, Austin Gardner, DJ Kristiansen, and Mason Kristiansen; and sister, Diane Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Leola Baierlein.
Deb was born on June 9, 1952 in Alton, Illinois. The family moved to Cedar Rapids, where she graduated from Kennedy High School. The family moved to Robins in 2000. Deb deeply loved her family and enjoyed her many friends, camping, dogs, trips to Montana, decorating, and gardening. She was a Stephen Minister and went on a mission trip to Haiti.
