Josh Peiffer, 33, of Cedar Rapids, passed away suddenly, July 27, 2023. Visitation: 4-7 PM, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom and 12 – 1 PM, Friday, August 4 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Josh was born on April 16, 1990, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Michael and Diana (Lowe) Peiffer in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School in 2008. Josh found true love and married Cassandra Forster on November 14, 2020, in Cedar Rapids. He worked as an administrative assistant at ABC Disposal Systems in Cedar Rapids. Josh loved to play golf and won many medals and trophies over the years. He was a Green Bay Packers Fan. Josh was a very kind and gentle person who never raised his voice. He loved being with his family and having a good time. Josh had a silly side and his entire life revolved around love and kindness. He was excellent with small children, and they were often drawn to his caring nature. Most of all, Josh deeply loved his wife.

Survivors include his wife Cassandra of Cedar Rapids; parents Diana and Michael of Cedar Rapids; grandmother Patsy Peiffer of Cedar Rapids; parents-in-law Jamie and Wes Forster of Cedar Rapids; brothers Nick (Sam) Peiffer and Ben (Monica) Peiffer all of Cedar Rapids; nieces Amelia and Alivia Peiffer; and brother-in-law Colton (Maisey) Forster of Madison, WI. Josh is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather Don Peiffer; maternal grandparents Pauline and Don Lowe; and his best friend Isaac Brown.
