Dear Dan and Samuelson family, We are lifting you all up in prayer as you continue to grieve the loss of your wife, mom and grandma. I'm so thankful that Leanne is at peace with Jesus! What a joy to play in the worship team with Leanne. It always amazed me how she made beautiful music with her flute. Leanne made it look so easy. She tried to teach me one time, but we all ended up in tears, laughing so hard at my breathless feeble attempts! Sometimes Leanne, Pat, Patty and I, laughed as much as we practiced! Another favorite memory of Leanne, was on our mission trip in Jamaica. The joy and compassion seen on her face as she talked, played with, and did crafts with the Jamaican children in the schools and orphanages brought joy to everyone there. Her easy going attitude and love for God, her family and others was a true blessing! We sometimes joked about forming a "Mom of Boys Club". In many ways we already had that, praying for each other, our husbands and boys, sharing tears, frustrations, funny stories and "proud momma moments" that we reminded each other to treasure. Dan, Ben, Josh, Joseph, Nathan and Jared, and your families, may your happy memories remain in the forefront and bring you comfort. May God wrap you in His strong loving arms of comfort and peace. We look forward to a joyous reunion in heaven someday. Rest In Peace Dear Leanne. With our love and prayers, Lori and Ernie Nicholas

To the Samuelson family,. I was a friend of Leanne 's at Bismarck Jr college. She was a beautiful person who will be greatly missed. I will always remember her gentle and gracious spirit.

Samuelsons- Sending love and comfort your way. Aunt Leanne was a bright spirit. She had an infectious laugh and a warm heart. I remember many a holiday at Grandma and Grandpa Saxvik's house laughing, joking, and enjoying each others company. I know the past few years have been harder than most and it is sad to lose Aunt Leanne so early. I know she's looking down with joy at all of you and sharing a laugh with Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of love! Cousin Michael

Dan and Boys, Charley and I loved every moment we were able to spend with LeeAnne! I have never met a kidder, loving and joyful person. LeeAnne was such a pleasure to be around. She had a light that shined so bright. The hank you for allowing us to be part of your family and for sharing such beautiful memories. She was an amazing Grandmother and woman. Love to you and the boys. Love, Charley and Teri Wynn

Dear Dan and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Losing Wife and Mom, Grandmom and friend is hard, and having lost her so much over the years creates such mixed emotions that is hard to sort through. Bless you all. Leanne was a special friend to me through our high school and Jr College days, many years ago. She listened so well, and truly cared about her friends. We talked for hours about all the drama and fun things we each were going through in those quickly passing months of “growing up.” Prayer was a common interest of ours, and we both grew to learn more and more of it through the decades in caring for our families and friends. I remember our time she and I co-led the Trinity Lutheran Church’s youth group for a year in Bismarck, ND. We were ill- prepared to harness all that crazy energy of jr high kiddos, but we had fun and hopefully influenced them for the Lord. I loved the peace I experienced whenever I was around her. It was evident that she loved Jesus, and knew how much He loved her. Her hope was solidly based in Gods saving grace for those who accepted Him into their hearts, and that He would come to take us home to live with Him forever. As our paths separated, I loved keeping up with her over the years and hearing of the boys adventures in growing up as we exchanged Christmas letters. The lovely handwritten letters were so special, and I found myself moved by the trials and successes that parenting taught us both. I know she loved the Lord with all her heart, for many many years. Now she sees face to face, and the hope we have of the resurrection life in Jesus is hers. She loved you all so deeply, and loved so many others too. May the Lord hold you all close and help each one of you to manage this loss. I will pray for you all over the next few months. God bless you all.

Dan and all you boys I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your mom because she was such a special and kind lady. We worked together at Marion High School and I remember each one of you boys and just how much your mom loved you all and how proud she was of each one of you. She is with God in heaven now and so happy and healthy. She was a wonderful friend and we shared our love of God and we were always happy to tell others about him. You were all blessed to have had her as your mom.
