Elsie Marie Wittig, 91, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
She was born on April 12, 1930, in Mount Auburn, Iowa to Burdette and Floy (Sheffler) Weisert. Elsie married the love of her life, Edward Reinhold Wittig on June 3, 1956, in Mount Auburn, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband Ed Wittig of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; son Eric Wittig of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and grandaughter Megan Brown of Toledo, IA.
Elsie loved being a Homemaker, Gardening, Painting, and Crafts. She was a fan of Hawkeye Basketball. She was a devout Lutheran in faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Blanche Homire and Bertha Gahring.
