Gerita Glade, Age, 62, of Marion, IA, passed away at the Northbrook Manor Nursing Home on Monday, December 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 6 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 12 PM. Interment to follow at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery-Garden of Eternal Love. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Details to follow.
Gerita was born on December 21, 1959, in Manchester, IA. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Berniece (Crowley) Tritle. On September 8, 1979, she married the love of her life, Jacob Glade. She was a Para-Educator for over 20 years in the Marion School District. She worked as an assistant manager with Hy-Vee for ten plus years. Gerita enjoyed puzzles, Disney, and being a Foster Parent. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Gerita’s memory are her husband, Jacob of Marion, IA; her children, Jacob (Leah) Glade III, Jeremy Glade, Jamie Glade, and James Glade, all of Marion, IA; her grandchildren, Kai, Zavier, Mikayla, Michael, Averie, and Willow; her siblings, Brian Tritle of Stone City, IA and Jamae (Glen) Remington, of Marion, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Bob, Barry, and Bambi Tritle.
