The battle is over; resting in peace at last. The future has begun. And you have the memories.
A tiny baby the womb might well be afraid of birth. To leave the only world it had known would appear to be a kind of death. However, immediately after birth the child finds itself in loving arms.
Passing through death is, in fact, a birth into a new and better world. Life has changed, not ended. So be it.
