How I enjoyed having Carol as a friend. She was active in the Solon Methodist church at the same time we were there, and she added so much to whatever group she was part of. She also had a wonderful, wry sense of humor, and made it so much fun to be around her. We accidentally sold her very nice tennis racquet at our church garage sale. Her only comment, “Someone got quite a bargain!” She will be missed by many.

So sad about the loss of my best friend/roomate while I was at UNL and all our DG memories. She and Dave and Dick and I had some good times together. She will be missed--Loved her family.

We just learned of Carol's passing and are so sorry to hear the news. Our Condolance's to the family.

We were so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. She was always so friendly to all the kids on the cul de sac, and always had a story or kind words of assurance for their parents, too! We never saw her without a smile. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear this news! I have such wonderful memories of times with Carol and all of the Brown family. Prayers to all of you in this time of loss!

I enjoyed my tennis time with Carol at Westfield. A beautiful person inside and out.

Carol was the dearest friend of our time in Iowa. Always had a great perspective on things. Funny, wise and taking care of those around her. A walk out to the stop sign with Carol seemed to put the world back on course.

Matriarch of the most generous family I have known. Truly kind, sincere and thoughtful. One of my first friends in my life.

Cheryl and I were saddened to hear of Carol's passing. Words can never begin to describe the sadness with losing a loved one, especially a parent. The closeness of the Brown family is a forever living tribute to Carol and your father and how they raised their family. We pray for you to have strength in your grieving, and take comfort from all the happy memories.

I read the obituary of your loved one. I'm sorry for your loss. "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

We were saddened to hear of Carol’s passing. From the moment we met Allison, it was very clear how how much she treasured her family and grandparents. We were able to meet Carol a number of times and could certainly sense she was a strong person who cast a huge light on her entire family. This time of loss will be tough, but we trust there will be memories of her to last a lifetime. All the best….

Our thoughts are with all of Carol's loved ones at this meaningful time. We have fond memories of a dear neighbor and fellow gardener - one who, after a full morning of spring planting, would have not a smudge on white tennis shorts! Her joyful spirit will be missed. Jim and Jo
