I regret being late in writing. Jeanne and Jack were friends of mine later in their lives, having seen me with an infant son at Panera, I think, and then for many years at the mall and elsewhere. Such a pleasant pair with whom to be friends. I'm sorry they've passed on but know the faith they shared in talking with me endures.

Jeanne was such a special friend to my mother-in-law Beryl. They had many coffee dates together. I always enjoyed visiting with Jeanne at Faith Bible Church. She was an encourager and radiated the love of Christ!

I barely remember Jeanne, but grew up with the boys. Just wanted to extend my condolences to the family. I'm very sorry for your loss.

What a wonderful lady!!! I will always remember her visits to the Cedar Rapids Marriott, her and Jack would always come in brightening the day of everyone there. Never saw her on a “down day”, she always had a smile on her face. To the Ciha family, you all have my deepest condolences.

As neighbors we would wave at each other until one day both Jack and Jeanne came to my front door and asked if they could talk to me. Jeanne promptly said my cat was using her flowers as her litter box herself in her flowers around the light pole. I told them I would talk to the vet and figure out something. I went to their door and handed them a spray that hopefully would keep animals away from her flowers. they both looked at me puzzled and said cat doings wasn't hurting the flowers but the cat was smashing down her petunias. a couple of weeks later I was telling y neighbor and she said no it was her cat doing it because she actually saw her do it. I told Jeanne this and we both had a good laugh. I think the spray helped but I noticed she never put flowers there again. When my husband died they both came down and gave me a hug and a dish of food. When I opened the door I asked "my cat again" and that broke the ice at a very sad time. In this day and age we all need to step back and chuckle about what life throws at us. Thoughts and prayers to the family of Jack and Jeanne Ciha.

Just having a moment of reflection this morning. My wife and I crossed paths with Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Jack at the Country Kitchen. Aunt Jeanne had the Shingles. I thought, what a beautiful, loving and tough lady! I want their family to know how truly much we loved your Mom... and Dad!

To the Ciha Family sorry to hear of your mother passing Jack and Jean have always had a place in my heart.Such wonderful people they always made me feel part of the family truly missed.Love the picture it tells a lot of their love.

This is a lovely tribute to my dear Aunt Jeanne. Such a nice picture too. I am blessed to remember the many family get togethers where Aunt Jeanne would be there. Always with a bright beautiful smile to warm the day. I am happy to think of them together again.

I have great memories of Jeanne while I was growing up and was always welcomed into the Ciha home. May God wrap his loving arms around your family and give you peace. We know Jeanne is with the Lord now and reunited with Jack.

I was saddened to read of Jeanne's passing. She always had a smile on her face, kind and friendly person. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Just know she is still watching over you all. Rest in Peace Jeanne.
