Mike was a great person and taught me many things about running a restaurant. We worked right besides each other at Mr. Beans for a while and I still use some of his tips and tricks today. We got pretty good at tossing frozen sausage patties at each other and catching them. It was so great to have him as a friend and mentor. God bless you Mike

What a loss! Mike was just an all around great person who loved to challenge people in the most direct and sincere way. I will miss our Word games and conversations. God Speed my friend. I am in shock! I was a classmate of Mike’s all through grade school and high school. We were rivals (in a good way) when it came to top grades in grade school. The HR memories The last few years we became rivals in the Big XII. Mike ISU and me KU. I always considered Mike a special friend. He is now reunited with his mom and dad and free of any suffering. My sympathy to Jill, Kathleen and Bill.
