Fran was that person who was totally understated and yet completely unforgettable. Every time I was with Fran, I felt love and acceptance. How often does that happen these days? Fran’s talents spoke for themselves. Both her music and her cooking were top notch. Those are the first that come to mind. And again, understated. Blessings to the family and friends who will miss Fran’s gentle and encouraging ways. We need more folks like Fran! May memories of her always bring smiles. She would like that.

We were so surprised to hear of Fran's passing. We will always remember her sense of humor and her beautiful smile. Fran was related to David through the Nemecek side of the family and she and I were in Beethoven Club. She will be missed at family reunions and Beethoven Club.

To the family of Fran Brown, it was my pleasure to have known Fran. during my time as organist at First Presbyterian Church. I remember her smile and sense of humor as we participated in the American Guild of Organists and the Beethoven Club's musical activities. She will be missed by many friends as well as family. With sincere sympathy for your loss, Jan Cuffel

May it comfort all of Fran's family to know others care and hold them in their thoughts and prayers. Her kindness to others was reflected in her service on The Board of Deacons. Peace and Grace from Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you Fran for helping out with the children’s music at First Presbyterian . You were always willing to come and play the panio any time we needed an accompanist for Chapel Time on Sunday morning, or for anytime we needed extra help for a performance in church. You always had a smile for the kids. Thanks you for your service to the children of First Presbyterian Church.

I was shocked to read of Fran’s death. I had talked with her recently and she was in good spirits. My sincere sympathy to her family. She was a wonderful lady. She tried to give me organ lessons when I was young. No one can play the organ like she did! My parents thought the world of her. She will be missed.
