I just saw that Orval had passed. I am so sorry. My condolences to all the family. I am the daughter of Beverly Clinton. They were friends for many years. I knew Orval to be a kind and gentle man.

I am the nephew of Orval's sister-in-law (Vera Walton) and wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Orval's family. I lived in Cedar Rapids for 28 years and saw Orval many times over that period, with some of them being at Aunt Vera and Uncle Dale's home and some of them at Orval's home. I remember his passion for antique automobiles. He was very proud of them and loved to show them to me and tell me about them. I remember he had an antique Lincoln Zephyr and I think he had a Ford Model T also. He was always so nice to me. I will miss him and never forget him. I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ comforts you now and always. Amen.
