To Denise's family, I send my deepest sympathy. I am a first cousin to Denise's mom, Alice. I am closer in age to Pam and Denise than I was to their mom. Denise and I reconnected on Facebook, and we sent messages and pictures back and forth. I know she had struggles with diabetes (I also struggle with it) so we shared that also. I pray she is at peace and pain free as she is reunited with Pam and other family.

I am heartbroken. Denise was my besti through jr high and high school. We reunited with Facebook. She had a donation for Juvenile Diabetes for her birthday last year. I just can’t believe it. Denise was so kind. I think Pam’s passing was a huge catalyst to Denise’s passing. Denise will be always remembered as fun, funny and big hearted.
