Donna was a wonderful lady, always with a sense of humor. Having not seen her in 35 years, the last time I did was at Charlotte Bonaventure’s funeral, when I said to her, “Boy, you’re still looking great. “ She responded, “Well, yes I do.” I laughed and said, “You seem pretty confident of that.” She said, “Yes I am.” On all my visits to Applewood Manor, Donna always treated me better than I deserved. She and her generation of moral, ethical, and virtuous Americans are painfully missed.

What a beautifully written Obituary. It truly was Donna. I feel like I knew her, and her family, very well after having styled her hair for many years. Even going to Rochester and buying “new hair”! My deepest sympathy.

I worked with Donna at National Oats for years and then I would run into her at the jewelry Dept at Von Maur. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed. My Prayers to her family during this time.
