Connie and family, So sorry for your loss. Prayers your way.

Terry, Jan, Connie, Sandy and family: I was devastated to hear of Dave's passing. Never at a loss for a comment, whether appropriate or not. Never laughed harder, or spent more time cruising University than with Dave. Football wouldn't have been the same without old number 11. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Found memories of both Dave and Steve from the old days at NU High. Hood and Bacon were like Brothers to many of us. Dave Will be missed like Steve has been all these years. The Family should know neither will be forgotten and memories of both bring smiles, not tears.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to you all. I was honored to get to work with Dave for a couple of years at Ryder. We were both Supervisors on 2nd shift. Dave had an infectious laugh and always made the nights fly by. Being a Steelers fan we would heckle each other about our football teams but it was all in fun. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Dave. My biggest regret was not doing a better job of keeping in touch after he left the company. I learned so much from Dave. He was truly a great coworker and friend. Dave was one of those people who left a mark on everyone he met. He left his mark on me and for that I'm grateful and I will never forget him. Rest Easy my friend. I'm sure the lakes in heaven are full of big ones for you to catch.

Grew up with all the Simcox’s .. Although I hadn’t seen Dave in several years I was able to get an update about my High School Buddy from Jan & Terry, our part time discussion turned into full time laughter..Dave was one of a kind and didn’t like to lose from Phys Ed volleyball to racing his Chevelle on Universty ave he also had a stiff upper lip and wouldn’t stand down to nobody that’s why he was my BEST BUDDY. To Dave’s wife and children Terry and Jan & Sandy I’m so Sad to here of Dave’s Passing.. My memories and Prayers are with you at this time & to my BEST BUDDY I’ll miss U!!! LOVE U Spin Back BUDDY ,ALDRICH

Jan and Terry...we are deeply saddened to hear about Dave. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Janet and Terry I am so sorry for the loss of David. I remember him growing up. He was a fun loveing guy. My prayer and thoughts are with you at this time. Sarah Breidert

My deepest condolences for your loss. He loved his wife Connie very much. He also talked about this children a lot. David and I worked together for a couple of years we became close friends. David was a fun loving guy who loved fishing and golf and he loves to tease me about his wife’s cooking. He would come to work And say I had such a wonderful meal last night Connie fixed it for me when I got home. And he would go on to tell me all about the meal and how good it was and what a great cook she was. We enjoyed goofing around with each other. David was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I miss you my friend. I never got to tell Dave how very much he meant to me but I believe that he knew.
