I am so sorry to hear about Reta. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Reta was my best friend when we attended Lincoln Grade School. We really had years of fun trying to beat each other at jacks and jump rope.Reta got to go on vacation with our family several summers to the Lake in Wisconsin. I remember our white bathing caps with strap under our chin as we tried to swim to end of dock as we thought we were the cats meow. Lots of great memories! I just can't believe she is gone but she will live in my heart forever. What a terrible loss of such a great person. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Jack, I was so sad to read of Reta's passing. She must have struggled a long time with Cancer. She always had a sweet, friendly smile at Silver Sneakers. I was glad to get to know her. Prayers to the whole family and hoping you find comfort and strength in your loving Memories of Reta.

Jack, Jeff and Julie - I am sooo sorry to hear of Reta's passing. I have always thought the world of Reta and your family, and have so many wonderful memories growing up in the neighborhood. Reta always made me feel welcome as a kid, hanging out with the Meier kids, often times inviting me to stay for dinner with the family . I will never forget her smile and quiet giggle when I learned the alternate name for creamed beef over toast one dinner long ago. :) Or as a young adult when I lived in the Holub house across the street and we found time to reconnect and catch up on occasion. Reta was truly a wonderful person and I was fortunate to have known her. You are all in my prayers!

Classmate at Lincoln Elementary, Wilson, and Jefferson. We are sorry for your loss.

My heartfelt condolences to the Meier family. Reta was like a mother to me. She was kind and generous. She was a positive influence in my life. I’ll miss her.

Uncle Jack, Julie, Jeff and family we love you and know that we are thinking of you and there in spirit.

We will miss seeing Reta's smiling face at Silver Sneakers. She was a terrific person and no doubt a wonderful wife. Sorry for your loss Jack. Reta had more than her share of health problems over the years! We will keep both of you in our prayers. Looking forward to seeing you in the future.

To the Meier Family, I am so sorry to hear about Reta. Please know I am thinking of you all. Marta

Jack - I'm so sorry to hear of Reta passing. She was such a lovely person. On behalf of my mom (June) and myself, we offer our condolences.

I am so sorry for your loss. We enjoyed a lot of time by the pool when our daughters were swimming. Whenever I bumped into Reta through the years she always had a smile and time for a talk. My sympathy to your family. Joanne
