Maureen and family, I was saddened to read the news of Patty’s passing. She was my first new friend at Iowa State. Her constantly positive outlook , and fun loving spirit made a huge difference in my life when I was contemplated quitting school. She was a true friend and even though I lost touch with her over the years I thought of her and all the laughs we shared many times. My thoughts at with your family

RIP, friend. Patty and I were BFFs at Taft. At Jefferson, we went on separate paths, but remained friends. I saw her periodically over the years and we always had great conversations then. I will miss her bubbly personality.
