Dear family of Karmen, I'm SO sorry to hear about her! My brother, John, told me of her passing. Karmen and I worked closely together in the early to mid 80's while I was working at CM. Karmen was ALWAYS sweet and kind to me and I never heard her utter a bad word, although I'm sure she can't say the same about me! She had a kind heart and was very respected by the families we served along with the staff at CM. I remember Gary helping out too. She was very loyal and I always appreciated that. Now, I see her photo after all these years and STILL remember how her eyes could light up a room. And that smile too. Anyway, I just wanted all of you to know that you have my deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry to hear about Karmen's recent passing. For many, many years I have enjoyed her beautiful organ music and was always thankful when she could provide her lovely and comforting accompaniment at funerals of my relatives. My sincerest sympathy is extended to all of her family at this sad time. --Cindy Lundine

Cindy and Becky and family Phyllis and I want to send our love and prayers to you and family. Karmen was like a sister to us in many ways. We remember times spent with her and Gary visiting.playing cards or out to dinner with them. She was a loving mother and grandma to you and the family. we were coming today to see you but with the virus issues and our ages we decided not to. Please know you are in our prayers and hope you can find joy that Karmen id at peace and with God as we celebrate her life. God Bless. Keith & Phyllis Henderson. PDC Wi

I have wonderful memories of Karmen as my lifelong friend—we grew up together at Trinity, sang in the children’s choirs, and both enjoyed music. She accompanied me on the piano and organ on many occasions. May memories of happier times with your dear mother help to ease your loss and pain.

Cynthia, Tom, Becky, Gary and families, Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Karmen. She was a very special lady that we had the privilege to know for many years. Our lives intersected at Eden through choir and there are so many memories. All of the times of singing during worship, our Christmas dinners and a lot of other special times. Your mom always knew exactly what to play for weddings, funerals, etc. and did it beautifully. It was great to see her at Salem when she came in the last few years. We have watched you all grow up. You are in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow and in the times ahead.

To Cynthia and Tom Harring and family. To Becky and Gary Copeland and family. We have such fond wonderful memories of Karmen not only as our organist and choir director at Eden United Church of Christ but also a wonderful dear person that we have known for many years and shared many memories with. She touched many lives with her music. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Take care in the fact that she is not in pain and she’s with her family that has gone before her. Annette, Carol, and Josh.

Cynthia, Becky and families - you are all in my prayers. Karmen was a lifelong friend for me and I will always cherish the memories of the many good times we've had throughout. I will miss her greatly but also am thankful that she is out of pain and with her family and friends who have gone to heaven before her. You know I am here for you for whatever you need. Love you all. Julie

To Karmen's family: Your mom was an amazing woman! My dad, Bud Harriss, owned K&H Auto Body and Karmen always came for repairs on her vehicle. She was the organist when my mom passed away in 1985 and my dad passed away in 2000. Her music was so soothing in our time of need. When I worked at Younker's part time, I would see her and she always remember me & my name. What a memory she had!!! I am so blessed that our roads crossed and she made a positive impact on everyone. May the Lord give you comfort now and in the days ahead. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Karmen's family... I have known Karmen for a number of years as our paths have passed since my grandma also was a church organist. She was a beautiful lady with so much talent. Becky, I know it has been years since we worked together at 36th Avenue, but I am so sorry for your loss. May you find peace knowing your mom isn't in pain any longer. Take care of yourself!
